But what you need to know is that one of the leading causes of death from the past decade has been heart disease. About 22%  of men and 44% of women develop heart disease, in their lifetime. The worst possibilities could go from narrowing of the arteries to blockage of the veins. Your heart is one of the most important organs other than the brain. It is the workhouse of the body. So the question arises,  how to avoid developing heart disease?

At times there are many other warning signs that your body sends out as signals when you are suffering from a heart attack or developed a heart disease. Some of which are:

  1. Chest Pain: 
    Chest pain is one of the most common warning signs of heart disease. It appears in many forms ranging from a sharp stab to a dull ache. It can also be in the form of a burning sensation. There are many reasons as to why you could develop chest pains. As chest pain can indicate a serious problem, it’s always recommended to seek medical assistance immediately.
  1. Shortness Of Breath:
    After you run a mile you will fall short of breath. That’s common but what’s not common is to fall short of breath after doing simple activities. Breathing problems arise due to several reasons however, in some cases, they can indicate a problem with your heart. Regardless of the reason, it’s always best to take breathing issues seriously.
  1. Pain And Numbness In Limbs:
    Pain and numbness in your shoulders, your hands, or your upper abdomen can also be a common sign of heart disease. Many people usually associate the pain in the left arm as a warning sign of a heart attack.

    Sweating is healthy in hot weather or during exercise. However, the problem arises when you start sweating excessively while going about your daily routine.  Although sweating can be a sign of an underlying medical condition like heart disease, it’s also your body’s way of cooling itself.    
  2. Lack Of Appetite:
    When the digestive system receives less blood from the heart it causes various digestive problems. You should visit a doctor and seek medical aid because this is also a leading sign of heart disease.
